M. M. Schenck Jewelers has been in business for nearly 40 years.  It is a name that has not only earned the respect of the Chattanooga community but across the country as well.  This was the first jewelry store in the tri-state area to be awarded the rating of Certified Gem Lab.  Mary and Barry Schenck are Certified Gemologist Appraisers (the highest degree obtainable in the field of gemology) who have passed all the requirements of the American Gem Society (AGS).  To retain this title, one has to be retested each year. 

This is trusting assurance that those who hold this rare title are the true professionals in the jewelry industry.  This guarantees you that they are current on testing techniques (our Certified Gem Lab also includes the Gran full spectrum diamond colorimeter), offer professional insurance and estate appraisals, meet and usually exceed all industry requirements, and offer the best value for the quality.  Both Mary and Barry have graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and still attend seminars and programs offered by the GIA.  Due in part of these qualifications and commitments, we have been selected as a State Farm Insurance Co. Claims Center.
